“Sandhole was the first venue we went to see, on the recommendation of Siobahn’s parents who had been to an evening reception at the venue. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, the barn was set up for a wedding later that day and it looked stunning. “We chose Sandhole Oak Barn for its perfect location to the church we were marrying at and the incredible scenery at the venue. The buildings had a traditional style with a modern finish which was just gorgeous and really suited the theme we wanted for the day. Everybody we dealt with there was extremely helpful and very welcoming too. “We viewed lots of venues, but I was a really fussy bride! We wanted exclusivity and something away from the city. Sandhole Oak Barn was the last venue we saw and as soon as we walked in, we both looked at each other because, as cliché as it might sound, we just knew it was the one. Bill showed us around and he was so friendly and passionate about the venue – we loved the family feel. “Sandhole wasn’t in our original search area, but we fell in love with it from the website so decided to visit. Instantly, we knew it was our venue. The fact that it had accommodation onsite and nearby for all our guests travelling from afar. The fact that its very nature would suit our autumnal wedding theme. The rustic, wooden look and warm, homey feel drew us in and made us never want to leave. We also loved the sheer amount of space.
