Charlotte & Peter's Summer WeddingCharlotte and Peter's wedding colour scheme was capaccino and orange. |
They got married at St James the Great Church in Gawsworth. Charlotte's father has some of his family buried there and a lot of their friends and family have had celebrations there.
"We chose Sandhole Oak Barn because of the beautiful and rustic look to the barn and lake. The setting was so romantic we just fell in love with it. It was a fantastic location, close to home and also our family would be able to stay with us in the accommodation which was a bonus. "
The bridesmaids all wore a cappachino colour cocktail dress, complemented by matching facinators and bouquets. The flower girls wore pretty dresses with a cappachino sash. Peter and the ushers wore brown suits with burnt orange cravats and matching button holes to the girls in orange. Charlotte's dress was fairly traditional, with a train in Ivory with beading all over the corset.
Charlotte's bouquet was made of a combination of Carla Lilly's, Roses and Orchids.
Peter and Charlotte opted for a tradional car in the style of an old beaufort, convertable in cream. "The lady who drove us was fantastic and really took care of us. We even had Champagne and Chocolates in the car."
The florist made arrangement for each of the table in the flowers of the day, with a rustic feel to compliment the barn. Their favours were personalised Love Hearts in boxes dressed with orange flowers. Their cake was three tiers, in ivory, each with orange ribbon around, dressed by the florist in the flowers of the day.
Charlotte says the best part of the day was "The best part of the day was sharing our happy memories with everyone close with us! The ride to the reception venue with the roof down drinking champagne was also amazing! " When asked if she had any tips for future wedding couples Charlotte says "Just enjoy every minuite of it, because once the day has arrived it goes so quickly!"
